Overview
La Robla is a historic narrow-gauge railway connecting Bilbao in the Basque Country with León in Castile and León. Originally built to transport coal from the mining regions, the line now offers a slow journey through the mountains, valleys, and historic towns of northern Spain — including stops along the Camino de Santiago. It is one of the longest narrow-gauge railways in Europe.
