Vingrau sits among the rocky foothills of the Corbières massif, where the Roussillon plain meets the mountains. The village is built from pale local stone, its narrow streets shaped by generations of Catalan wine-growing tradition. Vineyards on stony, mineral soils surround the settlement and produce concentrated red wines under the Côtes du Roussillon Villages appellation, some from vines that are decades old.
