Lantignié is a wine village in the Beaujolais region, known for producing Régnié, one of the ten Beaujolais crus recognised for their granite soils and structured red wines. The village lies among rolling hills where Gamay vines cover the slopes in neat rows, broken by stands of woodland and stone farmhouses. A cooperative cellar in the village lets local growers pool their harvest, giving tasters a single point to sample wines from across the appellation, each carrying the mineral edge that granite soil gives to Régnié.

Stone houses and narrow lanes keep the centre modest and rural, with little separating the village from the vineyards around it. Wine has shaped daily life here for generations, following the rhythm of the growing season from winter pruning through the September harvest.
