Großsteinbach.

Großsteinbach sits among the rolling vineyard hills of Eastern Styria, where rows of vines follow the slopes down to small farmhouses and wine cellars. The village belongs to a long tradition of Styrian winemaking, and family-run wineries produce the wines typical of the region. Cellar doors open for tastings, often in simple rooms attached to the winemaker's own house, where a glass of wine comes with simple bread and cheese.

Between the vineyards, the land rises and falls in soft green waves, with orchards and hedgerows breaking the vine rows here and there. Farm tracks cross the hills, linking Großsteinbach to neighbouring wine villages and opening long views over the vine rows toward the horizon. The rhythm of the village follows the farming year: pruning and new growth in spring, full green canopies in summer, and harvest in autumn, when presses run and the first young wine, Sturm, appears on local tables.
