Wine Tasting
Wullersdorf lies in the Weinviertel wine region of Lower Austria, where gently rolling hills carry row after row of vines. The village is small and quiet, built around farmhouses and wine cellars, with vineyards reaching almost to its edges.
Wine shapes daily life here. Family-run cellars press their own grapes and open as heurigen, pouring young wine alongside simple dishes made from regional produce. Paths lead from the village into the vineyard rows and surrounding farmland, used by walkers and cyclists exploring the wider wine country.
The landscape changes through the year: pale shoots in spring, full green canopies in summer, and turning leaves in autumn, when cellars are busiest pressing the new vintage. Small festivals mark points in the wine calendar throughout the year.
