Sitzenberg-Reidling lies in the Wagram, a wine region in Lower Austria known for its loess soils and Grüner Veltliner. The village sits among vineyards and open farmland, with rows of vines climbing the low hills of the district. Local wineries produce still white wines, many sold directly from small cellars attached to the growers' houses. The surrounding countryside supports both viticulture and general farming, and fields of grain alternate with vineyards through the year. A parish church and older farmhouses mark the village centre. Paths through the vineyards and along the field edges connect Sitzenberg-Reidling to neighbouring wine villages, used by walkers as much as by vineyard workers. The village follows the agricultural calendar, with wine taverns opening most widely around the autumn harvest. Hiking trails through the vineyards give views across the rolling landscape toward the Danube.
