Grafenegg.

Grafenegg's centerpiece is a neo-Gothic castle, rebuilt in the nineteenth century around an older core, set within a landscaped park of old trees. In summer the grounds host the Grafenegg Festival, built around the Wolkenturm, an open-air stage among the trees, alongside an indoor concert hall used for cooler-weather performances. Orchestras and soloists from across Europe perform here each year, drawing listeners who come as much for the setting as for the music.

The estate continues a winemaking tradition, with wine grown and bottled on the property. Walking paths cross the park, leading past open clearings away from the concert crowds.

Grafenegg sits in Lower Austria's wine country, pairing castle architecture with a summer concert season and its own wine production. The atmosphere changes with the season: full and lively during festival weeks, quieter the rest of the year, when the park and castle rooms can be seen without the crowds.
