Drasenhofen.

Drasenhofen lies in the Weinviertel, Lower Austria's wine-growing region, close to the Czech border. Vineyards climb the low hills around the village, a landscape shaped by generations of wine families who still tend their own Keller, or wine cellar, along its quiet lanes. Several local growers open their cellars for tastings of the current vintage. Beyond the vines, the countryside opens into fields and patches of woodland, crossed by paths that follow the gentle contours of the Weinviertel. The village itself keeps a modest, working rhythm: harvest season brings activity to the cellars, while the rest of the year settles into the slower pattern of a farming community. Vineyard life here continues much as it always has, close to the land and to the Weinviertel's old winegrowing traditions.
