Lymington is a Georgian harbour town on Hampshire's south coast, where the Lymington River meets the Solent. Its high street runs down toward a working quay, and the town's marina is well known for sailing, with boat trips crossing from here to the Isle of Wight.
Keyhaven Marshes, just west of town, draw walkers and birdwatchers along the Solent Way, and the Lymington Sea Water Baths, an open-air pool near the quay, offer swimming through the warmer months.
