Le Luc lies in the Var, in the heart of the Côtes de Provence wine region. Its hexagonal bell tower rises over a medieval center of narrow lanes, stone fountains, and shaded squares. Vineyards spread across the surrounding countryside, producing the pale rosé wines the appellation is known for, and several wine domains near the town open their cellars for tastings.

On Saturday mornings, the old town fills with a market selling local produce, cheese, olives, and other Provençal goods. The Musée Régional du Timbre adds a quieter cultural stop in the old town.

Beyond the center, the landscape mixes vineyard rows with pine-covered hills, changing color through the year: green shoots in spring, ripening grapes by late summer, and the deep colors of harvest in September.
