Beauvoisin.

Beauvoisin sits in the Gard department of Occitanie, where the flat Costières plain meets the edge of the Camargue. The surrounding land carries the Costières de Nîmes appellation, and vineyards spread across much of the commune, producing the appellation's wines. Olive groves and orchards fill the gaps between the vines, giving the area a mixed, working countryside feel.

The village itself is modest, built around a core of old stone houses and narrow streets. Beauvoisin's position between the vineyards and the Camargue's wetlands means dry, sun-baked vine rows give way to marshland toward the south.

Wine remains the main draw: tasting rooms and cellar doors are scattered through the commune, many open for direct sales.
