Krubki-Górki is a quiet village just 30 kilometres east of Warsaw, home to Pałac Alexandrinum — a restored 18th-century palace set in a historic park with centuries-old oaks. The estate carries a colourful past: Tsar Alexander I and Grand Duke Konstantin were among its notable guests, and during the 1939 German invasion it sheltered Major Henryk Dobrzański and his troops. Rebuilt after WWII, the palace now operates as a 4-star hotel where you can sleep in rooms steeped in Polish noble history. The surrounding park is peaceful and beautiful, especially in spring and autumn when the old oaks come into their own. Warsaw's Old Town, Wilanów Palace, and Kampinos National Park are all within easy reach, making Krubki a relaxed base for exploring Masovia.
